Vacancy – Customer Service & Sales Assistant 

Location: Nottingham

Reports to: General Manager

Type: 37.5 Hours per week, Permanent

Start Date: August 2025

 

About the Role

This is not your average front desk gig. As our Customer Service & Sales Assistant, you’re the beating heart of our student residence – the first smile they see, the go-to problem solver, and the person who makes ‘home away from home’ actually feel like it. Whether it’s welcoming new residents, helping them settle in, or giving a tour that makes someone say “where do I sign?”, you’re here to make every interaction matter.

What You’ll Be Doing

Customer Obsessed (in a good way)

  • Create memorable experiences for our students from day one
  • Be a friendly face at reception, answering questions with empathy, patience and a smile
  • Resolve problems quickly and kindly

 

Sales Superstar

  • Show off our stunning building like it’s your own Pinterest board
  • Convert leads into bookings with confidence and charm
  • Support your GM in smashing occupancy targets and beyond

 

Team Player Energy

  • Jump in and support your team with open days, social events and more
  • Get involved in community management, whether that’s helping run building events or using our app to boost engagement
  • Work closely with our General Manager to keep everything running smoothly
  • Bring positive vibes and a “let’s make it happen” mindset to every shift

 

Who You Are

  • You care about people. Like, really care
  • You’re confident, warm, and genuinely helpful—someone others naturally trust
  • You’ve got experience in customer service, sales, hospitality or just being an all-round legend
  • You’re proactive and can think on your feet (bonus points if you’re good at winging it under pressure)
  • You’re digitally savvy, you know your way around emails, calendars, and maybe even a property system or two

The Nitty Gritty

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Some weekend work will be needed, but we’ll always balance things out
  • Based at your LUNA property, expect the odd trip to HQ or other cities (travel expenses covered)
