The Vacancy – Land Manager (any level)
Location: Based from our Leeds office, covering the North West
Employment Type: Full-time

 

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Land Manager at any level to join our Land Finding team. This role is crucial in supporting our business by identifying, appraising, and purchasing new Care Home and Retirement Living sites. The focus will be on expanding our geographical reach into the North West as we continue our significant period of growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

– Identify and appraise potential land for new Care Home and Retirement Living sites.

– Develop and execute strategies for land acquisition.

– Engage with agents, developers, and landowners to negotiate land deals.

– Conduct thorough due diligence on potential sites.

– Work independently in the assigned region and collaboratively with the wider land team.

– Regularly report on progress and market insights.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

– Proven track record in land acquisition within the North West.

– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently achieve targets.

– Experience in the Care/Retirement Living sector is essential.

– Extensive network of agents, developers, and Care/Retirement Living operators.

– Proficiency in land-finding software and direct approaches to landowners.

– Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking.

– Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

– Willingness to travel and work across the assigned region.

– Educational background in Real Estate or equivalent is beneficial but not essential.
