The Vacancy – Management Accountant

 

As a Management Accountant with Torsion Care, you’ll play a key role in the smooth operation of the finance function for Torsion Care and Torsion Projects.

This role requires either ACCA/CIMA qualifications, a keen eye for detail and analytical forward-thinking accountant who is looking to make an impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

Not only do you get to work in a fun and collaborative team, but you will have the opportunity drive into data and be responsible for:

• Ensuring that accurate accounting records are always maintained for the businesses
• Collaborate closely with the Financial Controller to identify weaknesses in the accounts systems and processes and seek and suggest potential improvements.
• Work closely with other finance and commercial colleagues to ensure their needs are met and the information they have is accurate and up to date.
• Preparation of VAT returns and CIS returns.
• Assisting with preparation of cash flow forecasts.
• Ensuring monthly management accounts are produced in a timely manner

What we are looking for:

Detail Oriented: You’ll need to have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality

Qualified Accountant: We’d love you be qualified in either ACCA or a CIMA with experience in the construction industry

A team player: You’ll need to be a collaborative individual with a friendly “can do” approach, actively promoting and supporting Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within the workplace and with our external stakeholders

Organised: you’ll need to bring superb organisation skills, including time management, prioritisation of tasks and self-motivation

An excellent communicator: excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are needed as you’ll work with diverse groups of people

You’ll need to be tech-savvy: Experience with platforms such as COINS ERP and Xero is desirable
