Burghley Retirement Living, our provider of luxury retirement apartments is looking for a new team member to be site based five days a week. If you have experience in selling apartments, particularly in the retirement living sector, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role:

Join our dynamic team as a Full-Time Sales Executive at Royles Lodge, Thornton-Cleveleys. We are seeking a talented individual to be the driving force behind introducing customers to the world of luxury independent living for over 55s.

Your role will involve proactively engaging with potential customers, providing expert advice on apartment purchases, and ensuring a seamless experience from enquiry to move-in day.

You will be based on-site, taking ownership of sales targets and achievement of budgeted selling prices for Royles Lodge, while fostering strong relationships with customers and coordinating with various internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact potential customers interested in our developments and provide expert advice on purchasing apartments and the lifestyle with Burghley Retirement Living.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure a stress-free and positive experience from enquiry to move-in day.
  • Achieve sales targets and budgeted selling prices for Royles Lodge by gaining a deep understanding of the site and its offerings.
  • Manage a show home centre, providing comprehensive information and assistance to customers.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Quality Manager, and Development Manager, as well as offsite agents, sales partners, solicitors, and other stakeholders to progress sales through to completion.
  • Maintain professionalism and responsibility in all sales interactions and utilise IT databases effectively.


  • Previous experience in new homes sales, preferably in the retirement market.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills with a calming and supportive approach.
  • Determination to succeed with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive approach to sales and marketing.
  • Professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, and previous experience using IT databases.
  • Valid UK Driver’s License for off-site customer visits.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.
