CEO Dan Spencer forms a team to take on the challenge of delivering Torsion Group’s first Student Accommodation Scheme. Athena Studios, a 259 bed student accommodation scheme involved redeveloping land at the former ambulance station in Selly Oak into a futuristic student accommodation scheme close to the city’s main university campus.

CEO & FOUNDER

CEO and Founder of Torsion Group and its group companies, Dan has a proven track record in complex real estate development and investment transactions, working directly with investment partners to deliver significant real estate projects in the UK.

In 2015, Dan formed Torsion Group, a business specialising in student accommodation, care & retirement living, and residential.

In 2018 Dan was recognised for his achievements and was short-listed in the 42 under forty-two business leaders awards in the Yorkshire region, and in November 2019, Dan was featured in the national & regional publication ‘Insider Media’ as Yorkshire’s Entrepreneur of the Month.
