CEO DAN SPENCER SHARES HIS THOUGHTS ON COMPASS ACHIEVING PRACTICAL COMPLETION
It’s tremendous to see Compass, our 290-bed PBSA development in Birmingham, full of life with students after two years of hard work. Well done to the construction delivery team, stakeholders, and our operating division Torsion Students, for getting this complete and 100% let for 2022/2023 – not an easy task over this period.
Amazingly Compass was delivered on time despite being slowed down twice by COVID, and following the breakout of the war in Kyiv, our cladding panels were delayed for the top three floors of the building.
An unbelievable achievement and a true testament to never giving up and finding a way!
My heartfelt thanks go to all the delivery team and stakeholders involved in delivering this fantastic scheme.
