Congratulations to #TorsionTigers for finishing second at the Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge Final at Pugney's Water Park in Wakefield.
This was the second year that Torsion Group participated in this fantastic challenge. It was terrific to see our people and meet their families, who braved the weather in the morning (thunder & lightning) to attend the event. Fortunately, the weather cleared up throughout the day, allowing the teams to go racing.
The entertainment, prizes, food (Bracken Catering) and company all went towards creating a fantastic Torsion summer #family event! A special mention to Dominique Morrissey & Jakson Alves De Sousa for coordinating the day, Deni Lee for her amazing face-painting skills, and our ‘Cox’ Kerry Beaumont for her help and support.
Our team have raised £2300, which will be distributed to ANDYS MAN CLUB, and The Rotary of Wakefield Chantry Trust Fund.
