Torsion Care is delighted to announce its first planning consent of 2023. 

Planning permission has been granted for 56 retirement living apartments in Shipley, West Yorkshire.

The site is to be developed under our Burghley Retirement Living brand and constructed by Torsion Projects. The Retirement Living apartment block is the second phase of the overall development of this site in Shipley, following the recent phase 1 Practical Completion of our 66-bed Care Home, Shipley Manor.

The development is located within the heart of Shipley and close to the UNESCO world heritage site of Saltaire. With the nearby train station providing convenient links into Leeds, a newly constructed supermarket and coffee shop just around the corner and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to the north of the site, the location is ideal for those looking to enjoy their retirement.
