Project Overview
Lindley Park Care Home is a modern, purpose-built 61-bed residential and dementia care facility located on Brian Street, close to the centre of Lindley, Huddersfield. Developed by Torsion Care in partnership with Tanglewood Care Services, the £12 million scheme has transformed a long-vacant brownfield site into a vibrant, high-quality care environment.
This contemporary home combines thoughtful design, community integration, and a focus on comfort and wellbeing to deliver exceptional standards of residential and specialist dementia care.
The home has been designed to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for residents, featuring a range of amenities including a café, hair salon, sports lounge, garden lounge, and activity spaces. Every element has been carefully considered to promote connection, independence, and dignity for residents.
In line with Torsion Care’s sustainability objectives, the development incorporates energy-efficient design principles and high-quality materials to ensure long-term performance and reduced environmental impact. The project also supports the local economy through the creation of 30 new jobs and contributes to the regeneration of a key site in the Lindley community.
