Project Overview

Redgate is a 297-bed student accommodation development located in Nottingham city centre, adjacent to the University of Nottingham’s new Business Campus. The scheme offers a mix of 220 cluster bedrooms and 77 studios, supported by high-quality communal amenities to create a vibrant and supportive living environment.
The design celebrates Nottingham’s heritage, with the name “Redgate” paying tribute to the site’s history as the former home of an alcohol manufacturer on Traffic Street. Today, the space has been reimagined to foster student community, well-being, and sustainability.

Redgate has achieved a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating and Fitwel 3-star certification, reflecting its commitment to environmentally responsible design and resident health. Multi-functional spaces, including a lounge, gym, study areas, games rooms, and two landscaped outdoor courtyards, have been thoughtfully created to encourage social connection and enhance the student experience.
